
Three Rivers ISD would like to notify the school district and community that two additional student athletes tested positive for COVID yesterday. Both individuals are on the high school boys' basketball team and were last at school facilities on Saturday, December 12th. Contact tracing has been performed and parents with students on the high school boys' basketball team have been notified. We will continue to update our community with new developments. Continue to monitor your children for any COVID-like symptoms. Three Rivers ISD will be on the holiday break through January 4th, 2021. We will return with our students on Tuesday, January 5th.

Three Rivers ISD would like to notify the district/community that an Elementary teacher/coach tested positive for COVID this morning along with a varsity boys' basketball player. We have performed contact tracing, and several employees as well as the junior varsity/varsity boys' basketball teams are also in quarantine due to possible/direct exposure. Our Athletic Director has notified the recent schools that Three Rivers has played against in boys' basketball, and we are continually monitoring the health of our students/athletes. Upcoming high school boys' basketball games are cancelled through December 27th.

Due to a rise in quarantine cases, Three Rivers ISD will move to remote learning beginning on Monday, December 14th. The teachers will post updates on either Google Classroom at Elementary or Schoology at the Jr.-Senior High School. We will return with the students on Tuesday, January 5th, 2021.. It is important that each student check in for attendance purposes each day.

Three Rivers ISD has been notified that a high school student was confirmed COVID positive today. This individual has not been at school since November 20th. The student is at home and recovering in quarantine. Contact tracing has been performed and two additional students who had close contact were sent home to quarantine as well.


District officials were notified this morning that a high school student had tested positive for COVID on Saturday, November 28th. The student was last in attendance at school on Friday, November 20th. The individual is currently in quarantine and recovering at home.

An Elementary Cafeteria employee tested positive for COVID yesterday. The individual is recovering in quarantine. As a response, the cafeteria areas have been thoroughly cleaned. Please monitor your children for any symptoms for possible exposure.

Three Rivers ISD was notified yesterday afternoon that a secondary substitute teacher tested positive for COVID. The substitute teacher was subbing in the ag department and was last on the junior-senior high school campus on Tuesday, November 17th. The individual is in quarantine and recovering. We ask that you monitor your children for symptoms from possible contact. The areas of possible exposure will receive a deep cleaning from our custodial staff.

Bus Driver Needed: All Aboard School Transportation is looking for a full time route driver with a class B or Class A Cdl driver for Three Rivers ISD. Three Rivers ISD would like to communicate that the secondary campus has its second positive COVID student case. We were notified late yesterday. The student is recovering at home in quarantine. The Live Oak County Health Department has been notified, and the building was thoroughly cleaned afterwards. If you have any questions, contact campus administration, Nurse Ernest Means, and/or the Live Oak County Health Department. We will continue to keep our community updated to the best of our ability.

Parents of 1st and 2nd grade students: Three Rivers Elementary has been informed that a teacher has tested positive for Covid 19. The teacher has been off campus for several days, but precautionary measures dictate that all first and second grade classrooms be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. We are asking for parents to come pick up their children at lunch (11:00 – 11:30) and keep them at home through Monday. We are taking guidance from county health officials and will continue to update parents with information as we get additional guidance. Our hope is that children will be able to return to school on Monday, but we ask for patience and understanding as we continue to make decisions based on information that will keep our students and staff safe
