Parents of students in Three Rivers Jr/Sr High School. As all of you know, we have extended our remote learning for an additional week due to the drastic increase our community is seeing in active COVID cases. I wanted to make sure that each of you, and each of your students, were fully aware that school is still in session. This is not an extended Christmas break, nor is it an opportunity to spend more time at their job or out running errands. We are in school and all attendance and grades being taken will count as if we were physically in the school building. Many of our students are checking in for attendance, but not doing the work. Some are doing neither.
As a reminder, attendance quizzes must be done by 12:30 each day and assignments must be completed by 3:30 unless the teacher specifically says otherwise.
If you have any questions, please contact your student's teachers. They are on campus in their classrooms and they are here to help.

Three Rivers ISD will return to face-to-face instruction for grades PK-2nd grades next week, January 11th-15th. Grades 3rd-12th will remain remote for an additional week. We will monitor our faculty, staff, and student health numbers continually, and make an announcement next Thursday afternoon regarding what our course of action will be with the safety of all educational partners in mind. For more information, contact your child's teacher(s) and/or campus administrator first. Buses will run next week for Kindergarten through second grades.

Jr. High Boys' basketball will host McMullen County this evening at 5:00/6:00 p.m. in the SAC Gym. Jr. High Girls' will play at McMullen County in Tilden at the same times. Go Bulldogs!

Three Rivers over Kenedy, 63-57 in Varsity Boys’ Basketball.

The Varsity Boys’ Basketball game vs. Kenedy has been moved to 6:00 pm. There will not be a JV game after all. Go Bulldogs!

Parents, please contact Nurse Ernest Means to report any quarantine developments or COVID-positives for your children this week. It is important that we have a running count of those children so that we can make a better plan for our return from remote instruction.

Three Rivers ISD would like to announce that its varsity girls' basketball team is in quarantine for ten days along with its competitive cheer squad from a possible direct contact/exposure on Thursday, December 31st. A student athlete tested positive today for COVID-19. There will be neither games nor practices this week for those two groups. Parents, please continue to monitor your student athletes for any symptoms. Report any developments to Nurse Ernest Means.

Due to a significant number of employees who are COVID-positive or are in quarantine, Three Rivers ISD will return to remote learning beginning Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. Our coaches will communicate with our parents and student athletes regarding practice times and upcoming games. We will assess our health numbers next week, however, aim to return with face-to-face learning on Monday, January 11th, 2021.
